Welcome to our sailboat website!

This website and our YouTube channel, Sailing SV Bella Vita will document our sailing adventures (and misadventures). We want to share these experiences with fellow sailors, those considering sailing, and anyone with an interest in what we’re doing. By documenting our experiences, moving from a house to a boat and living aboard, learning about navigation, weather, electronics, diesel maintenance, and all the other things we need to know to prepare for cruising, we hope to inspire others who share this dream. We’re learning as we go so our hope is that others can learn from those mistakes and be inspired to take the leap, even later in life, get into sailing and eventually maybe even cruising.

Here we are enjoying just being passengers on our friend’s Bristol 40. Sometimes it’s nice to not be in charge and just enjoy the ride.
